It’s National Time Again!
As you may already know, Adelaide has been chosen for this years OzSpurs National Weekend. We are looking forward to seeing all you interstate travellers as well as South Australian Spurs fans.
The match that weekend is Newcastle away currently scheduled for Saturday the 18th. However, if we progress through to the Europa League Quarter Final, the match will be moved to the Sunday.
- Golf Day at Adelaide Golf links for anyone who’s interested and arriving early from interstate.
- OzSpurs gathering at The Elephant Pub, 1 Cinema Place, off Rundle Street.
- Interstate penalty kick challenge at Uni Sports Ground, McKinnon Parade, Adelaide.
- HISTORIC PUB-CRAWL ON AN OLD LONDON BUS
The bus is fitted with a music system & bar (bring your flags). We will be visiting historic pubs at least 140yrs old starting off from The British on Finniss St near McKinnon Parade. We will be visiting The British, Largs Pier Hotel, Ramsgate at Henley Beach, Seacliff Hotel & Edinburgh Hotel, Mitcham. Followed by a half hour sing song of Tottenham’s finest travelling back to the city and disembarking at the Light Square Hotel around 7pm.
- Tottenham vs Newcastle - date and venue TBC
- BEER BY THE BAY
We have chosen historic Glenelg for the infamous Sunday session, which many National regulars believe to be the best laugh.
The ‘Watermark’, corner of Adelphi Terrace and Anzac Highway, will be where we start with the AGM. We will then, as the mood takes us, visit The Pier Hotel, The Jetty Hotel, The Moseley & The Grand Hotel. Most of these hotels sell good food all day Sunday.
If the match is switched to the Sunday we will arrange a venue when and if this occurs.
OzSpurs have negotiated a special rate with the Ibis on Grenfell Street - full details to come soon.
I urge you to get in early for the party bus, which will hold between 40 – 60 of the best supporters in the world. Get off the web for a weekend, meet people you have a common bond with, sing your throat dry and soothe it with the coldest beer and coolest wine on the planet.
